1. The service
SplitXO is a financial tracking tool designed for entrepreneurs and gig workers. It helps you record transactions, scan receipts, and generate reports. SplitXO is for informational purposes only and does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Subscriptions and billing
SplitXO Pro is a paid subscription currently priced at $2.99/month (plus any applicable taxes). Payment processing is handled by Stripe.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancel anytime: you can cancel at any time; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- No partial-month refunds: we do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse SplitXO. For example, you will not:
- Attempt to access another user’s account or data.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the data you submit (such as transaction records and receipt images). You grant SplitXO permission to process your data solely to provide and improve the service, including generating extracted receipt fields and reports.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted data (including OCR results) will be perfectly accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming any information before relying on it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SplitXO and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
